Writer Childnet International

Founded in 1995, Childnet is a registered charity with the mission to work in partnership with others around the world to “help make the Internet a great and safe place for children.” The vision of the organisation is to ensure that all those involved in developing, producing, controlling, using and regulating the internet, implement policies and programmes which prioritise the rights of children so that their interests are both promoted and protected. We consist of an education, policy and communications team and have the ability to disseminate our messages directly in schools and through our National and International networks.

Childnet also forms part of the European Commission appointed UK Safer Internet Centre.
