Kodo Education has joined forces with Fantastict, a national provider of educational consulting and training, to provide its E-safety Support members with access to a range of discounted services – including Free E-safety Needs Analysis consulting.
From 1st October 2013, all subscribers to E-safety Support will benefit from the Free E-safety Needs Analysis, which will help identify skill and knowledge gaps in specific relation to students, teachers, parents and governors, and in line with the latest Ofsted guidelines.
Joe Basketts, Education Director, Fantastict, explains: “E-safety can be something of a minefield when it comes to navigating what’s required in terms of legislation and then mapping this to what actually happens, and is feasible, within a school environment. Kodo Education has done an excellent job in delivering e-safety resources to help schools overcome these challenges, and as part of our partnership, we’re looking to bridge the gap even further by providing practical and hands-on support.”
Enhancing the existing online resources and guidance provided by E-safety Support, the Fantastict partnership offers the additional benefit of discounted face-to-face training for Premium and Premium Plus members. Delivered by Fantastict’s expert team of e-safety consultants, these courses can be held remotely on a one-to-one Webex platform, or as an on-site or centre-based workshop.
Ian Pringle, CEO, Kodo Education, concludes: “We are continually seeking out ways to add value to our members and ultimately make their lives easier in terms of e-safety compliance and best practice. While our online teaching resources and e-safety school management tools are highly accessible and effective, members often ask about taking this a step further with more in-depth training and consultancy support. This makes our partnership with Fantastict a real strategic fit and at the same time delivers tangible benefits to our full E-safety Support member base.”
